Chisholm's culture of Belonging & Inclusion strives to promote a self-regulating culture that enhances the experiences of our employees, students and communities.About The RoleAs an Education Manager - Mental Health, AOD and Counselling within Community and Social Services, your key responsibilities include -Coordinating and delegating tasks to the team to deliver operational outcomes including; timetabling, resource allocation, teacher loads and student progress.
Leading and managing teachers, including supervision, performance, professional and vocational currency and development requirements.
Leading the design, development, delivery and evaluation of innovative, customised, high quality vocational education and training responses for identified students and clients.
Designing and developing innovative teaching and learning resources including tailored materials in a range of mediums to support varying student learning styles.
Maximising student engagement, retention, satisfaction and a positive teaching environment through collaboration with the Student Experience team Engaging with employers and industry representatives to ensure teaching materials and content meet industry and employer needs and currency.
Contributing to business development activities including tenders and submissions to support business growth and the Institute's fee for service goals.
About YouYou will have high level interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and experience in the delivery and development of contemporary educational programs, approaches and developments that meet learner, industry and community needs.You will also have a working knowledge and understanding of compliance requirements with the regulatory framework within which VET programs are delivered.Qualifications Required For The RoleAdult Teaching qualification at AQF 5 or 6 level or higher A vocational qualification in mental health, and/or AOD and/or counselling at a Diploma level or higher.
Vocational currency at least 3 years relevant industry experience as demonstrated through a range of work and related experience.
Understanding of all disciplines delivered within the Business Area.
Registration with professional bodies as required for the teaching discipline.
