We're seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Tenancy Administration Worker to join our Housing Services team and play a vital role in supporting young people aged 16 to 25 through transitional housing programs across the Barwon and South West regions.
About the Role
As a Tenancy Administration Worker, you will:
Manage a portfolio of transitional housing properties, including shared, family, crisis, and Youth Foyer accommodations.
Support young renters by ensuring tenancies are administered in line with the Residential Tenancies Act 1997 and the Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities Act 2006.
Collaborate with support workers and care teams to promote successful tenancies and positive outcomes for young people.
Maintain accurate records, coordinate property maintenance, and contribute to program development and compliance reporting.
Represent Meli Housing in external forums and build strong relationships with stakeholders and service providers.

What We're Looking For
We value individuals who bring precision, empathy, and a commitment to youth wellbeing.
To succeed in this position, you will have:
A Certificate IV in Business (Administration), Community Services, Youth Work or a related discipline.
Experience in tenancy or property management, ideally within the social housing sector.
Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act 1997 and housing compliance frameworks.
Strong administrative skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
A current Victorian Driver's License and willingness to travel across the region.
