INTERMEDIATE ACCOUNTANT, TAX BUSINESS SERVICES - BRISBANE CBD - $70 K-$85 K

The Business Services team offers tailored services, fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, including banks and financiers.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This role is ideal for a young professional with 1-2 years of experience in a second-tier accounting firm, seeking to advance their career as an Intermediate Accountant.
Located in Brisbane CBD, this position offers exposure to a broad client portfolio, including listed companies and private enterprises, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide advice on business, accounting, auditing, financial, or lending matters.
Prepare Tax Returns, Financial Statements, CGT, BAS, IAS, FBT returns for various entities.
Offer Financial Planning advice, including establishing and maintaining Self-Managed Superannuation Funds.
Liaise with the ATO on behalf of clients.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in accounting (BCom or BBus) from a recognised institution.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience in business services within an accounting firm.
Enrolled or enrolled-in-progress in the CA program, with expected completion within a reasonable timeframe.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
