About the role : Reporting to the Head of Unit / Anaesthesia, some of your duties will include : Providing clinical supervision to Senior Medical Practitioners, Trainee Medical Officers, and Medical Students Being responsive to the expectations and needs of both clinical and non-clinical colleagues Overseeing the smooth functioning of the clinical area when on shift Acting as a role model and mentor for medical students, registrars, resident medical officers, and interns Ensuring that patients and families are given adequate information upon which to base treatment decisions and follow-up About you : Demonstrated professional integrity, leadership, and motivational skills Participation in approved continuing medical education since attaining specialist qualification Ability to work independently and exercise a high level of professional judgment and medical competence in a multidisciplinary setting Excellent communication skills with a wide range of people including patients, families, colleagues, and other professional staff, both verbally and in writing Extensive clinical experience relevant to Anaesthesia Experience with supervision and teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate medical staff Please see the attached Role Description for additional information.
