Public Sector People are working with a government organisation within Brisbane who are seeking an AO6/7 Senior Risk Advisor on a 3 month contract + extension Temp assignment with the opportunity to go directly with the client afterwards and apply for the permanent position within the Team.
Full Job Description High Profile Government Department | Multiple locations across QLDASAP START | Attractive pay rates from $76-$86 p/h + Super (PAYG)WFH 2 days a weekThis role will be supporting the department's rollout of the risk management & business continuity frameworks along with supporting the leadership team.
Responsibilities Will Include But Not Be Limited To Advise and support the leadership team in matters of risk management, using risk tools, understanding the risk appetite statement and various other related risk documents.
Coordinate and deliver specific training and development initiatives designed to strengthen risk management activities.
Contribute to the development, implementation and review of the organisations risk management framework, policy and process.provide high quality advice to management and staff on contemporary risk management, issues, and trends.
Research and analysing complex and sensitive performance and risk management issues in accordance with government procedures and legislative requirements.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers and staff impacted by risk management activities.
About you: Tertiary qualifications in Risk management3+ years of experience working within a similar position.
Government experience is highly desirable.
Experience in a leadership position, or someone looking to take that next step into a leadership role.
