About the role As a Psychologist within our Rural Youth Mental Health Program, you will deliver high-quality, culturally appropriate psychological services to children, young people, and their families.
Your work will focus on supporting clients through trauma-informed care, mental health interventions, and collaborative planning to achieve meaningful outcomes.
This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving lives.
You will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments, implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, and contributing to case planning with families and other professionals.
The position involves some travel across the Western NSW.

Duties Provide psychological assessments, consultations, and therapeutic interventions tailored to individual client needs.
Collaborate with families, carers, and other professionals to develop and implement effective case plans.
Maintain accurate records and reports including support plans, assessments, and intervention summaries.
Participate in team meetings, supervision, and contribute to continuous improvement in service delivery.

Skills and Requirements Degree qualification in Psychology and registration with AHPRA.
Experience working with children, youth, and families in therapeutic settings and in the completion of psychology assessments.
Strong communication and report writing skills, with the ability to translate complex information clearly.
Proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and with external stakeholders.
Flexibility to travel and work outside standard hours when required.
