We operate in Rockhampton, Yeppoon, and Emerald, close to mines, major civil infrastructure projects, and diverse pumping operations.What We Offer:Competitive Pay: Starting at $44 per hour (annual salary range $80,000-$90,000), with potential for higher rates based on experience, and permanent full-time employment.Consistent Work & Ample Hours: A steady flow of projects ensures continuous work and hours.Diverse Equipment: Operate various concrete pumps, from line pumps to 50m boom pumps, gaining hands-on experience.Accommodation for FIFO Roles: Accommodation provided for Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) positions, allowing you to work while having housing covered.Flexible Rosters: Options such as 2 weeks on, 1 week off for a balanced work-life schedule.Key Requirements:Certified Concrete Boom Pump Operator - Certification required, plus 2 years of experience.Current HR Truck Licence - Essential for operating necessary machinery.Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Located in or willing to relocate to Central Queensland for ongoing projects.FIFO applicants welcome - accommodation provided.Main Duties:Operate concrete pumping equipment to pump concrete.Pour, spray, and spread concrete over areas such as foundations, pools, and retaining walls.Prepare concrete pump for operation by setting up and connecting hoses, pipes, and other equipment.Maintain concrete pump equipment.Monitor safety of the concrete boom pump and ensure worksite personnel adhere to safety protocols.Ensure safe and effective concrete placement.Coordinate with worksite personnel to meet customer requirements safely.Troubleshoot machinery errors and breakdowns with support from the workshop supervisor as needed.Perform regular maintenance as required.Report incidents and maintenance requests promptly.Follow worksite and Concrete Pumping Queensland regulations.Adhere to Concrete Pumping Queensland's code of conduct, policies, and procedures.Support colleagues in training and upskilling.This is a fantastic opportunity to work on ongoing infrastructure projects alongside experienced professionals in a growing industry.
