The Opportunity Visy Retail Services partners with major retailers to deliver outstanding in-store execution and customer service.
Our Consumer Products division is seeking a Store Account Manager to oversee vendor support activities across an identified group of stores in Far North Queensland, including Townsville, Cairns, and surrounding regions.
Reporting to the State Sales Manager, you will play a key role in account management, product training, merchandising, and sales.
You'll be responsible for maintaining high service standards, developing strong stakeholder relationships, and ensuring Visy's continued success within major hardware brand stores in the region.
Key Responsibilities Build and maintain relationships with store management teams across the region to drive sales and operational excellence.
Conduct regular store visits to provide product training, support, and improve in-store performance.
Execute sales strategies and quarterly sales initiatives.
Manage refit activities with smooth communication to major hardware brand stakeholders.
Perform site audits, compliance checks, and safety assessments.
Ensure all vendor activities meet WHS standards.
Maintain accurate CRM records and reports.
Travel frequently throughout the region, including overnight stays as needed.
What You Will Bring to the Team Sales, merchandising, or account management experience in trade/hardware retail.
Previous experience with major hardware brand products and procedures (highly regarded).
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Comfortable delivering product training and using tools/equipment safely.
Competence with i Pad/i Phone technology for daily tasks.
