About the Opportunity We are seeking an Institutional Business Development Director for our APAC team.
This role involves generating and closing high-value sales within Australia, focusing on institutional clients.
You will develop strategies to build a strong client base, identify new revenue sources, and ensure client alignment with OKX standards, while providing feedback to senior teams to improve offerings and grow the business.
What You'll Be Doing: Identify and pursue institutional sales opportunities in Australia.
Build a pipeline through sourcing and converting prospective clients from consulting, education, planning, to advisory stages.
Develop client profiles, identify successful cases, and replicate efforts to ensure success and targeted marketing.
Define and evaluate new revenue streams and opportunities with existing or new clients.
Close high-revenue, high-impact deals.
Ensure prospects and new clients are in good standing and pose no risks to OKX, including financial, reputational, or regulatory risks.
Gather and communicate client feedback and service gaps to senior management and product teams, with suggested solutions.
What We Look For In You High tenacity, grit, and determination.
Proven sales experience with a track record of building pipelines, developing opportunities, and closing deals.
Knowledge of regional territory and strategies for building a high-value sales pipeline.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Extensive knowledge of products for institutional clients (Block Trading, Derivatives like Perps/Futures/Options/Margin, Cash OTC).
Previous experience in crypto sales, preferably on another exchange platform.
