What is the Role?
The School is seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and experienced secondary school educator to join our dedicated staff as the Head of Department, Christian Development.
This is a full-time, permanent position starting in Term 4, 2025, with flexibility to commence in Term 1, 2026, for the right candidate.
Who will the successful applicant be?

Experienced in teaching Christian Development for Years 7-12 and Stage 6 Studies of Religion, with recent engagement in secondary education
Theologically qualified at Diploma level or higher
Enthusiastic about their subject and capable of inspiring secondary students
Flexible in working with diverse student abilities
Knowledgeable about recent developments in senior secondary pedagogy and their application to their subject
Experienced in curriculum development and implementing new syllabuses
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with the Christian Development/Chaplaincy team
Confident with technology and willing to integrate it into teaching
Committed to the School's Christian mission, values, and ethos

Previous experience with the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) is highly desirable.
