What You Will Do As General Manager - Operations, reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will take ownership of KOCH Fertiliser Australia\'s Terminal Operations.
Your focus will be on ensuring efficient operational storage and dispatch capacity to deliver superior customer value.
You will lead the development of both internal and external teams, driving operational excellence in line with our strategic growth ambitions.
Success in this role will come through: Aligning operations with the organisational vision Driving continuous improvement initiatives Managing risk and quality within a strong EH&S culture Leading innovation and operational excellence across our port warehousing network Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) You are an innovative and critical thinker with strong skills and knowledge to lead complex operations in the fertiliser industry.
Your qualifications include: Critical thinking to solve complex operational challenges Skills Strong accountability and delegation Economic understanding to drive cost-effective decisions Building and nurturing effective relationships Continuous learning mindset Knowledge Engineering principles relevant to bulk handling and storage Understanding of legal and regulatory matters in operations Subject matter expertise in fertiliser or bulk logistics industries Leadership & Culture Proven ability to build relationships across global teams and local 3 PL partners Strategic thinker capable of shaping operational strategy Cultural fit with a collaborative, inclusive team environment Commitment to safety and quality as a non-negotiable priority What Will Put You Ahead Experience within the Fertiliser industry.
Background of developing and managing 3 PL relationships.
Proven record of managing P&L.
Demonstrated leadership and strategic thinking.

About the Role: As General Manager of Atura Dandenong, you will champion, improve upon and ensure the sustainability of Event Hospitality and Entertainment's commercial objectives (our Vision and Goals) and our people objectives (our Purpose and Values) through your leadership.
This role is the brand ambassador, experience-creator, salesperson, welcomer and Daymaker at Atura.
You are present, visible, approachable and receptive to ensure the smooth running of the hotel, making a positive impact on their guests, community and team.
Key Responsibilities: Building a highly engaged and driven culture with a focus on engagement, performance management and identification, development and retention of high potential team members.
Aligning all operations and leadership activity with EVT's Vision, Goals, Purpose and Values.
Positively role modelling and implementing all policies and procedures with a focus on risk mitigation and Work Health & Safety.
Ensure adequate internal control frameworks are in place to minimise risk associated with security, stock and financial management.
Consistently delivering exemplary standards of customer service.
Growing all revenue streams ahead of market.
Maximising revenue.
Promoting, encouraging and experimenting with new and improved revenue generating or cost saving projects and initiatives.
Demonstrating and applying an understanding of sales in the areas of strategy, customer management and acquisition, sales operations and sales leadership.
Demonstrating and applying in-depth understanding of monthly budgets, Profit & Loss reports and forecasts.
Proactively growing and maintaining strong networks, relationships and communications with customers, owners, suppliers, team members, the local community and EVT.
