About the Role: We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Day Team Leader to join our By Products Department in Port Pirie.
In this role, you will lead a team to ensure the safe and efficient production of activities within the department.
You will also analyse plant data to assess process issues and recommend effective solutions.
This is a residential role based in Port Pirie, South Australia, operating on a days only roster, Monday to Friday 40hrs a week.
Relocation assistance will be provided to the successful candidate if required.
Key Responsibilities: Provide leadership and support to resolve day-to-day issues impacting safety, environmental compliance, and production.
Facilitate and assist with business improvement initiatives.
Manage production variance processes.
Develop team members, plan for succession, and maintain operational flexibility.
Ensure high standards of housekeeping, hygiene, fume, and dust suppression within the work area.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Team Leader (current or previous).
Strong knowledge of personnel management, organisational change, process improvement, and communication principles.
Ability to work collaboratively to achieve workflow targets.
Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and their application in a production environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and SAP.
Familiarity with asset management processes.
