Excellent opportunity for an experienced Inventory Team Leader with an FMCG business - Hobart or Sydney based.

**Your new role**
Reporting to the Inventory Manager, as Inventory Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in managing inventory processes, ensuring accurate stock levels and optimising supply chain efficiency. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales, procurement, logistics, and production, to maintain seamless operations.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, track inventory movements, and maintain accurate records
- Demand Forecasting: Collaborate with demand planning teams to forecast product requirements and ensure optimal stock availability
- Stock Reconciliation: Conduct regular stock counts, investigate and reconcile discrepancies
- Order Fulfilment: Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery to support production and timely order fulfilment
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential stock shortages or excesses, proactively address issues, and minimise supply chain risks
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance inventory control processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of 3-4 staff across the inventory teams in Hobart and Sydney.
**What you'll need to succeed**
With previous experience in a team leadership role and inventory management within the manufacturing industry, you are knowledgeable with LEAN manufacturing and have a strong understanding of FMCG. You have excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, and are proficient with ERP systems. A strong communicator, you have exceptional negotiation skills and a positive attitude.
