The Opportunity:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a
second or third year law student
to join our Team in our Raymond Terrace office.

In this casual role (
minimum three days per week, working Thursday, Friday & third day of your choice
) supporting the Personal Injury team, you will engage in diverse legal functions and administrative tasks. It is ideal for candidates who thrive in a dynamic and bustling work environment.

This role is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working in a personal injury team, develop your legal skills and apply what you are studying.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with clients
  • Preparation of correspondence, court documents, statements, and subpoenas
  • Attending court and settlements
  • Legal research and court filing as required
  • Extensive file and document management
  • Proactively managing solicitor and client requests/inquiries
  • Providing high-level support to professional staff within the team

Successful Candidates Will Have:

  • Completed their first year of study in their Undergraduate University Law degree (preferred)
  • Availability to work Thursday & Friday
  • Excellent typing skills with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise work and manage competing deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Confident, professional, and empathetic phone manner
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Outlook skills
