Senior Business Analyst - Superannuation
This role is part of the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) with our client which provides independent, comprehensive and effective oversight of the project delivery, achieving excellence in member service standards.
The successful candidate will have a strong delivery background and agile mindset to help drive business transformation for our members.
Other responsibilities will include gathering and translating business and system requirements into conceptual, functional, and technical requirements.
This position would suit someone with experience in migration.
The candidate will have knowledge of Technical applications, cloud infrastructure, cloud capabilities (Azure) and other non-functional requirements like security, availability and response time.
Note: Candidate must have technical acumen and must have experience working for Superannuation fund.
Accountabilities

Lead the gathering, analysis, elicitation of business requirements; define project scope and formulate business requirements using various analysis techniques; work closely with internal and external stakeholders to elicit business and solution requirements; drive key project deliverables; ownership of key project deliverables supporting the overall project outcome; translate requirements into accurate user stories, acceptance criteria and process flows; communicate dependencies, issues or risks and plan to resolve throughout project delivery; work with the project manager to lead and resolve competing stakeholder demands to deliver successful outcomes.
Drive adoption of the digital platforms through education and support.
Assist with operational support of the digital platforms, introduction of the right technology foundations, processes, standards, governance and documentation.
Assist/guide business teams to plan and execute User Acceptance Testing; ensure appropriate test cases are documented, with actual results recorded during testing and verification of solutions; ensure test criteria confirm the solution meets the defined requirements and maintain traceability of requirements to delivered outcomes.
Stakeholder management and quality outcomes: leading workshops and one-on-one interviews with stakeholders; process mapping and sign-off by relevant stakeholders; monitoring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and policies; supporting project testing execution, including understanding testing artifacts and methodologies; review and sign off test cases and perform UAT/PVT; assist with change management and capability rollout.

Key Selection Criteria

Proven track record of performing BA roles in projects of various sizes for Business and Technology projects (minimum 5 years).
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and drive project outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to work in a systematic and methodical manner to analyse and deliver complex requirements.
Ability to communicate and present complex problems clearly; ability to lead, support and guide other Business Analysts; experience dealing with internal and external stakeholders with competing priorities; energy, enthusiasm and attention to detail; solid background as a Technical BA in enterprise organisations.
BA project experience within the Banking and Financial Services sector or Superannuation; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail; excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.

Qualifications and Experience

Tertiary qualification in a related technology / business field.
Super industry experience.
Hands on knowledge of Jira, Confluence and related efficiency tools.
Familiarity with Azure, AWS or any Cloud Computing Platform.
Previous experience in complex Technical Migration/Digital Transformation/Platform projects.
Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
