What You Will Be Doing

Pioneer an AI-driven financial ecosystem that sets new standards in educational finance management
Author game-changing design decisions that transform complex financial processes into streamlined, scalable solutions
Elevate AI and human capabilities through strategic written feedback on Deep Dives and Improvement Plans
Drive critical decisions in strategic sessions focused on growth, vendor partnerships, and regulatory alignment
Orchestrate seamless financial operations across tuition management, audit processes, and tax compliance

Overseeing a traditional, bloated finance department
Getting bogged down in routine month-end closures or transaction approvals
Settling for off-the-shelf ERP solutions that don\'t meet ambitious standards
Creating hierarchical barriers – you\'ll be hands-on in the transformation
Operating in a business-as-usual environment – we\'re in rapid innovation mode

Chief Financial Officer Key Responsibilities
Design and implement an AI-powered financial infrastructure that efficiently supports multiple education ventures while maintaining lean operations and unlimited scalability potential.
Basic Requirements

Professional financial certification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or MBA)
Proven 10+ year track record in progressive finance leadership positions
Executive-level finance experience with comprehensive control over core financial operations
Expert-level mastery of US GAAP and financial statement integration
Proven track record optimizing ERP systems in complex organizational structures
Minimum 5 successful Big 4 audit engagements (either side of the table)
Superior communication abilities in English, capable of executive-level discourse
Based within UTC-8 to UTC+3 time zones

Understanding of U.

K-12 education ecosystem (private, charter, ESA programs)
Track record of developing AI-enhanced financial automation systems
Proven success in managing finances across multiple entities and jurisdictions

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position.
The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year.
The payment period is weekly.
