About the Opportunity ASC is seeking a Project Controls Manager - SSN Sustainment to oversee the implementation, administration, and compliance of our Corporate Earned Value Management System (EVMS) under the SSN Sustainment Program.
This pivotal role ensures both internal and external EVM reporting aligns with ASC's standards and Defence requirements.
Responsibilities Manage, deploy, support, and mentor the Project Controls staff for work areas within the SSN Sustainment Program.
Ensure compliance with the EVMP and other relevant governance processes.
Facilitate, train, and assist team members in using the corporate EVMS tool for reporting, analysis, and maintenance of the baseline.
Prepare, review, and submit monthly reports as required.
Oversee and delegate the maintenance of various data tables and ensure alignment with contractual requirements.
Engage with Project Managers and Control Account Managers to ensure adherence to processes and provide adequate support.
Implement additional reporting as required and continuously improve Project Controls processes.
About You Qualifications in Project Management (such as AIPM/APM), Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience in a Project Management organisation.10+ years of experience within Project Controls, Earned Value Management, Cost Engineering, Cost Control, Cost Estimating, Planning & Scheduling, or Project Management.
Demonstrated ability to implement and execute industry-standard Earned Value Management.
Experience in training and mentoring staff in the use of an EVM tool.
Advanced skills in COBRA, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power Point, and Power BI.
Knowledge of Australian Defence Standard: DEF(AUST) 5664, will be desirable.
Customer-focused with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of attention to detail and ability to train team members as required.
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
