The Opportunity
We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our Western Australian Sales Team, based in Malaga.
Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, you will be assigned the central geographical area and be responsible for hunting and securing new business opportunities across small to medium enterprises (SMEs).

Responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities.
Ensure long-term growth and profitability of the division by identifying and developing relationships with key clients and generating new business.
Submit quotes and follow up on leads to close sales.
Provide excellent customer service and build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Meet sales targets in accordance with business metrics and targets.
Collaborate with other business units at Cleanaway.

About You
You will bring a genuine passion for sales, customer engagement, and the thrill of the chase.
This position will provide a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in the waste management industry and develop your sales skills further.

Previous solutions sales experience is preferred.
Previous experience using a Customer Relationship Management tool, such as Salesforce, is beneficial.
Excellent time management via your calendar to ensure you have adequate time in-field and manage administration tasks.
This is an autonomous role, so you must be a self-starter.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A tenacious, resilient attitude and results-focused approach.
Works well under pressure, hunts opportunities, and drives new business.
