About the opportunity Join Mercy Health's dynamic Facilities team in the Western Region, supporting multiple key health services including Werribee Mercy Hospital, Mercy Mental Health & Wellbeing and Mercy Palliative Care.
This leadership role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive, values-driven organisation, managing a skilled team to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient infrastructure operations across a diverse portfolio.
Oversee the effective management, maintenance and lifecycle planning of all assets and infrastructure within the Western Region portfolio.
Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of corrective and preventative maintenance, in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Be a key member of a collaborative team, contributing to the development of maintenance strategies that support patient care and operational excellence across the sites.

Most importantly, you are committed to delivering exceptional patient-centred care.
To thrive in this role, you will have Tertiary qualification in Facilities Management, Building Services, or a related discipline, or trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Hydraulic Services Proven experience in facilities or maintenance management, ideally within healthcare or hospital environments Experience with budgeting and financial management for maintenance operations Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with multiple stakeholders Excellent written communication skills, with a strong understanding of computer applications Ability to manage multiple priorities, working under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Experience in managing and optimising CMMS platforms (e.g., Technology One, MEX, Maximo, or similar You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining: A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
