Sales Director - Drive Growth & Impact Bullying Action Education (Backflips Against Bullying) is a small but growing team on a mission to empower kids with the confidence and skills to stand up to bullying.
We deliver high-energy, engaging programs to schools across Australia, and we're looking for a dynamic and driven Sales Director to lead our team and take our impact to the next level.

About the Role: As our Sales Director, you'll be the driving force behind our revenue growth.
You'll be responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring our sales team while also developing and implementing innovative sales strategies to expand our reach and impact.
You'll be a master of both leveraging our existing successful tactics and injecting fresh ideas to propel us forward.
What You'll Do: Build and Lead the Team: This is a hands-on role where you'll be instrumental in building our sales team from scratch.
You'll recruit, onboard, train, and mentor talented folks who are just as passionate about our mission as we are.
You'll create a supportive and collaborative environment where everyone can thrive.
Shape Our Sales Strategy: You'll develop and execute the sales strategy that will drive our growth.
This means identifying new opportunities, expanding our reach, and making sure we're getting our programs into as many schools as possible.
Develop annual sales plans with clear targets and strategies, analyze market trends, and identify new opportunities for growth.
Sales Prowess: Refine and execute our existing sales process, including online demos, school presentations, and direct outreach.
Identify and develop new sales channels (e.g., partnerships, online advertising).
Personally close key deals and mentor the team to do the same.
Data-Driven, But Human: We use data to track our progress and make smart decisions, so you'll need to be comfortable with our CRM system (Pipedrive) and sales analytics.
But more importantly, you'll understand that behind the numbers are real kids and real schools.
Become a Key Part of Our Community: You'll be building and maintaining strong relationships with schools, educators, and community partners – becoming a true advocate for our mission.
Keep Us on Track: You'll develop sales forecasts and keep us updated on our performance, market trends, and what our competitors are up to.
Be Our Champion: You'll represent Action Education with passion and professionalism, embodying our values in everything you do.
What You'll Bring: Experience: 5+ years of experience leading sales teams in a B2 B environment .
Experience selling to schools or within the education sector is a significant advantage.
Startup/Scaling Experience: Demonstrated success in a leadership role within a startup or scaling business environment is highly desirable.
Strategic Mindset: Develop annual sales plans with clear targets and strategies, analyze market trends, and identify new opportunities for growth.
Sales Skills: Proven ability to build rapport with decision-makers (principals, school administrators) and close deals.
Experience with Pipedrive, Zapier, Clickup and Better Proposals is ideal.
People Skills That Shine: You're a natural leader, coach, and mentor, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team.
Great Communicator: You're a clear and confident communicator, both verbally and in writing.
Analytical Skills: You're comfortable using data to make informed decisions.

Positive Attitude: Resilient and adaptable, with a growth mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
Location & Work Arrangement: Our head office is in Silverwater, NSW, and we are currently setting up an office on the Mid North Coast.
We are open to a hybrid work arrangement in either location for the right candidate.

Salary Package: Salary package of $140k - $160k + Superannuation, commensurate with experience, and an OTE of $200,000 including performance-based bonuses.
