About the Role The Senior Financial Accountant will report directly to the Financial Controller.
This role collaborates with the Finance leadership team to prepare monthly financial reports, handle end-of-month accounting, and improve finance processes within the Financial Accounting team.
This position is a key member of the corporate accounting team, supporting excellence in customer service, innovation, and profitability.
Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, preparing financial reports, maintaining accounting records, and providing information for strategic decision-making.
The role also involves reviewing and improving accounting processes, interacting with other business areas and offshore teams to enhance workflows, increase efficiency, and automate processes where possible.
Management accounting tasks such as budgeting and reporting may also be assigned.
The role includes engaging with offshore resources and assisting in exception resolution.
Skills and Experience3-4 years of relevant experience Formal accounting qualifications (e.g., tertiary degree or equivalent)Working towards or completed CA / CPA or similar Experience with taxation areas such as FBT, Income Tax, GST, and Payroll Tax Experience in the travel industry finance or operations is desirable but not essential Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Experience with SAP Business One, Tramada, or similar systems is desirable but not essential Strong organizational and time management skills Effective communication skills, both written and interpersonal Ability to deliver high customer service levels and maintain relationships Why CTM?The travel industry is recovering, and CTM offers a stable, sustainable work environment supporting career growth.
