This role will work with the Finance leadership team to prepare monthly financial reports, perform end-of-month financial accounting, and improve overall Finance processes involving the Financial Accounting team.The role is a central member of the corporate accounting team, assisting the business in delivering excellence in customer service, innovation and return on investment while contributing to achieving our business strategies.
The role will be responsible for the compliance of statutory requirements, preparation of monthly and annual financial reports, accounting records and other information, enabling senior management to make informed business decisions and improve profitability.The role also includes continuous review and improvement of accounting processes, including interactions with other areas of the business and the offshore outsourced team, to complete required workflows, determine process improvements to increase efficiency and automate and integrate wherever possible.
The role may involve some management accounting tasks such as participation in budgeting and reporting activities when requested.
It will include engagement with offshore resources and assisting with exception resolution.Skills And ExperienceMinimum 3-4 year's experienceFormal qualifications in accounting essential (e.g. tertiary degree or equivalent)Completion or working towards CA/CPA or equivalentExperience in taxation related areas, such as FBT, Income Tax, GST and Payroll TaxExperience in the travel industry either finance or operations is desirable, but not essentialMinimum intermediate level experience in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly ExcelExperience with SAP Business One and Tramada system or similar accounting / travel package is desirable, but not essentialStrong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple concurrent tasksEffective written and interpersonal communication skillsDemonstrated capacity to consistently deliver a high level of customer service and develop and maintain ongoing relationships with customers and colleaguesWhy CTM?
