As an Underwriting Graduate, you'll gain hands-on experience in a relationship-driven role that blends analytical thinking with a customer focus.
Applications close: Tuesday 26 August 2025 Program starts: Wednesday 28 January 2026 Employment Type: Permanent full-time Minimum starting salary: $79,500 including super Locations: Sydney, Melbourne, Perth About the Program Over two years, you'll complete six-monthly rotations within our Commercial & Personal Injury Insurance team, gaining hands-on experience across the full underwriting lifecycle.
Rotations are structured to support you to: Master underwriting: assess, price, and manage a portfolio of commercial insurance products.
Build trusted relationships: work with brokers and clients to negotiate and deliver tailored solutions.
See the bigger picture: gain exposure to claims, legal, and other teams to understand the entire insurance value chain.
Grow your commercial acumen: manage real-world portfolios, analyse risks, and contribute to strategic decisions.
Collaborate across Suncorp: connect with experts to create smarter, customer-focused risk solutions.
Who can apply?Full working rights in Australia Studying or have studied at an Australian or New Zealand university Completed a minimum of bachelor's degree within the last two years (2023, 2024 or 2025), or will complete prior to the program commencing Preferred Degrees: Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Engineering (or related disciplines)Skills we value: Clear and confident communicator Attention to detail with strong analytical ability Resilient, adaptable, and open to feedback Relationship-builder who enjoys collaboration Comfortable juggling competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Apply online by 26 August 2025.
