Job Description Hanrahan Health is expanding its services to include positive behaviour support We seek an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner at the Proficient or Advanced level, dedicated to providing evidence-based, person-centred, and outcome-focused support to NDIS participants.
Daily responsibilities include: Assisting NDIS participants, their families, and carers with needs assessment and person-centred planning.
Developing and delivering support plans within complex support settings.
Creating meaningful goals and strategies based on positive behaviour support principles, aiming to eliminate restrictive practices in home and community settings.
Aligning individual plans with participants' goals, passions, and strengths.
Building capacity and knowledge among supporters, including family and carers.
Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team and mentoring less experienced practitioners.

About you Current suitability at Proficient or Advanced level with documentary evidence.
Extensive experience supporting individuals with behaviours of concern.
Excellent report writing and communication skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
Genuine passion for disability support.
Qualifications Degree in an allied health discipline is preferred.
