Grafton Base Hospital is a medium sized (100-bedded) regional hospital with emergency services.

It provides diagnostic and health services that includes General Medical with Palliative Care, Women's Care Unit, Intensive Care and Coronary Care Unit, Paediatric Unit, Renal Unit, Surgical Services, and Hospital in the Home where patients are admitted to hospital but treated in their homes.
