About the role : Are you a passionate Speech Pathologist seeking a rewarding opportunity in a busy medical environment? Our client is looking for an enthusiastic, personable, and outgoing Speech Pathologist eager to work in the community and make a difference.
You should be dedicated to developing your clinical knowledge, eager for new challenges, and capable of leading a team.
Key responsibilities include: Helping with a wide range of speech disabilities for adults and children, including mispronunciation, vocabulary comprehension, stuttering, autism or Asperger's affecting social skills, swallowing difficulties, and more.
Conducting comprehensive assessments of communication and swallowing abilities.
Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
Providing therapy sessions to clients of all ages.
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records.
Participating in ongoing professional development.
