About The Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated Radiographer to join our team at our Ballina clinic, with some coverage required across the region.
This position offers a diverse workload with opportunities to provide services across a wide range of modalities including CT, XR, BD's and Mammography.
Our team is made up of a range of Radiographers both junior and senior; and they take provide in providing high quality scans and a focus on patient experience.
Ballina nestled between the Richmond River and North Creek, this relaxed coastal gem on NSW's North Coast combines unspoiled beaches, serene tidal bays, and fertile hinterland with a dynamic, modern food culture.
And no visit is complete without seeing the Big Prawn standing proudly since 1989 as a delicious symbol of the region's local produce.
Key Responsibilities Provide compassionate patient care, prioritising patient welfare and confidentiality.
Interpret radiological requests and perform procedures in compliance with legislation and departmental policies.
Maintain optimal image quality and ensure examinations deliver diagnostic information relevant to clinic requirements.
Commit to continuous improvement by maintaining current knowledge and upskilling in new techniques and advancements.
About You To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Bring Prior experience as a Radiographer in General X-Ray and CT.
Mammography experience (Highly desirable)Hold the appropriate qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology/Diagnostic Medical Radiography and will have a current AHPRA Registration and Radiation Use License.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to high-quality patient-centred care.
