We are seeking a dedicated Radiographer to join our team at our Ballina clinic, with some coverage required across the region. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Radiographer in General X-Ray and CT.

Job Description:

The primary role of the Radiographer is to provide compassionate patient care, prioritizing patient welfare and confidentiality.

The Radiographer will be responsible for interpreting radiological requests and performing procedures in compliance with legislation and departmental policies.

Maintaining optimal image quality and ensuring examinations deliver diagnostic information relevant to clinic requirements is also essential.

The successful candidate will commit to continuous improvement by maintaining current knowledge and upskilling in new techniques and advancements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as a Radiographer in General X-Ray and CT.
  • Mammography experience is highly desirable.
  • Holding the appropriate qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology/Diagnostic Medical Radiography and having a current AHPRA Registration and Radiation Use License.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to high-quality patient-centred care.
