Job Description: Oracle DBA in Perth SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLSThe position requires: Design & build Oracle Databases: Oracle standalone, Oracle RAC, Oracle ADG, Golden Gate (added advantage)Design & build My SQL Databases: Standalone, Master Slave configuration Design & build Microsoft SQL Databases: Standalone, Always On, Replication or Logshipping Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager Ops Centre Knowledge of Hawk Eye Monitoring tool Develop and maintain system documentation related to the database configuration Perform Patch & release management Perform performance trend analysis and manage server/network capacity React to potential problems using automation, scheduling, and monitoring tools -- escalating to management where appropriate Participate in configuration and implement technical solutions to enhance and/or troubleshoot the system Knowledge of the following Operating System environments: Redhat/Oracle Linux, IBM AIX, Oracle Solaris, Windows Servers INTERPERSONAL SKILLSThe position requires: Proven ability to deliver results within specific time frames Ability to work within a team in a cross-cultural environment Ability to work after hours QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEThe position requires:5 - 7 years of experience as a Database Admin on Oracle, My SQL, Microsoft SQLFormal IT related qualifications
