Role: Site Engineer (Electrical)Duration: 12-months initial casual contract (open to Permanent arrangement, hiring on long-term basis)Location: Canberra ACTProject: Renewable Solar & BESS projects Working hours: Monday – Friday (10 working hours per day, you will get to go home every night)Start date: ASAPKEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe role involves overseeing the day-to-day activities on-site, including solar PV systems and BESS components.
Develop and maintain work packs Assist in the creation and review of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and ensure their proper implementation on site Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with project requirements, safety regulations, and electrical standards.
Act as a primary point of contact between the site and project office.
KEY REQUIREMENTSBachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field Minimum 5 years of site experience in electircal engineering with solar farm and/or BESS projects Familiar with work packs, ITPs.
Familiarity with industry and safety regulations.
Valid driver's license and willingness to work on remote project site.
Only candidates with the right to work in Australia will be considered.
