We believe deteriorating youth mental health is one of the most important problems in the world to tackle right now, and we're looking for people to join us on that journey.Schools are stepping up to tackle this crisis head-on, putting wellbeing lessons into their timetables and making student mental health a priority.
But here's the challenge: teachers trained in maths, English, and history (not wellbeing) often find these lessons uncomfortable to deliver.
Meanwhile, schools are trying to hand-roll their own systems to triage students, spot who's struggling, and deliver tailored interventions.
They're prioritising wellbeing but struggling to solve it with staff who are new to these problems and complex systems that each school has to build from scratch.To solve these problems, we're creating the world's first Wellbeing Management System (WMS): a platform that packages the world's best approaches to student wellbeing and makes them simple to teach, measure, and improve across the full spectrum of care.

At Wellio, design and content teams report into product because the best solutions integrate all three disciplines.Your Core ResponsibilitiesAs our first Senior Product Manager, you'll work directly with our Head of Product to execute on product vision and drive key initiatives.
You'll be hands-on with discovery, shaping, and shipping while helping build the foundations of our product systems as we grow.Discovery and ResearchConduct Deep Customer Discovery To Uncover Meaningful Problems And Validate Solutions.
You'll Spend Significant Time With Customers, Understanding Their Needs DeeplyWatch customers use our product in classrooms to identify friction points Run discovery interviews to understand unmet needs Implement analytics tooling to analyse usage data and feedback to find improvement opportunities Research new markets and user segments to understand adaptation needs Work with the VP of Product to translate insights into clear problem statements and opportunity areas.Shaping and PitchingOwn specific product areas and shape compelling pitches that outline problems and solutions—whether that's new features, lesson types, or product improvements.Collaborate with engineering, design, and content to ensure your pitches are good deals (appetite vs.
impact), technically feasible, and user-friendly.Present pitches at betting tables and advocate for the problems and solutions you've shaped.Shipping and IterationDrive the execution of your shaped work within set appetites.
Work closely with engineering and design to wield the scope hammer and keep projects on track.Hold the quality line—only ship work that meets our standards.
Push back on pressures to compromise quality for speed.After release, measure impact and iterate based on customer feedback, usage data, and business metrics.Cross-functional CollaborationWork closely with design and content teams to create cohesive user experiences that integrate technology and content seamlessly.Partner with sales and customer success to communicate product value.
Help craft messaging and sometimes join customer calls to understand their needs firsthand.Support the VP of Product in building foundational systems and processes as the product team grows.What We're Looking For4+ years of product management experience with a proven track record shipping successful B2 B Saa S products.Strong discovery and research skills.
You know how to uncover real customer problems and validate solutions before building them.Excellent execution skills.
You can take a shaped pitch and drive it from concept to shipped product, making smart trade-offs along the way.Customer empathy and business acumen.
You understand how to balance customer needs with business outcomes and technical constraints.Collaborative mindset.
You work well with engineering, design, and content teams to create integrated solutions.You understand your medium.
You don't need to code or design everything yourself, but you know enough to have detailed conversations with engineers and designers.You love great products and get excited by well-crafted tools, whether in our space or completely outside it.Problem-solving skills.
