Established for over 70 years and led by a dedicated board, management and staff, Multitask has become recognised as a leader in supporting people with disabilities in the Northern Rivers.
Multitask's mission is to empower people living with a disability to live rich and meaningful lives in an inclusive community.
Responsibilities and expectations The Board is responsible for the overall strategic direction and works with management in setting strategies for the organisation.
The person we are seeking will have: a commitment to community service and the for purpose sector, an understanding of operating in regional areas, an understanding of and experience in governance, ability to relate to a diverse group of stakeholders and a willingness to help lead and grow the organisation in a sound, diligent, caring and sustainable way.
We are interested in people who have a diverse range of qualifications, skills and experiences including those with legal or ITC backgrounds, but that is not essential.
Details Board meetings are conducted monthly, usually from 5:30pm on a weekday in Lismore NSW and with teleconference facility plus a one day strategy session twice a year.
If you live or work in Lismore or Northern NSW that would be great but it's not essential.
Appointment terms are for 3 years with the option of further terms.
