• Provide detailed technical direction, to ensure the effective and efficient management of Coordinator-General owned land and assets.
• Prepare and implement the Strategic Asset Management Plan for the Coordinator-General's assets (land and built assets) in SDAs, including preparation of operational plans and risk action reports.
• Provide strategic and policy advice on best practice asset management.
• Develop, implement and report on:o pest and weed management programso fire hazard reduction programs; ando asset maintenance programs
• Engage with key stakeholders including adjoining landowners, lessees, tenants, other government departments, local government and lead agency bodies regarding the effective and efficient management of the Coordinator-General's assets across Queensland.
• Undertake site visits and work with contractors and stakeholders on land management activities to ensure the Coordinator-General's assets are managed in accordance with best practice.
• Make recommendations on land management of budgets, appropriate expenditure and cost recovery associated with asset management.
• Manage complex procurement processes including:o preparing contracts for works, goods or serviceso supervising and managing technical consultants and contractorso ensuring identified outcomes are achieved on time and within budget.
• Manage, update and prepare reports on asset related data using Service Now (data base) and other systems.
• Actively monitor compliance and risks and undertake appropriate follow up or enforcement actions.
