About the Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated Radiographer to join our team at our Ballina clinic, with some coverage required across the region.
This position offers a diverse workload with opportunities to provide services across a wide range of modalities including CT, XR, BD's, and Mammography.
Our team comprises Radiographers at both junior and senior levels, committed to delivering high-quality scans and excellent patient experiences.
Ballina, nestled between the Richmond River and North Creek, is a relaxed coastal town on NSW's North Coast, featuring unspoiled beaches, serene tidal bays, and fertile hinterland, along with a vibrant food culture.
No visit is complete without seeing the Big Prawn, a local landmark since 1989, symbolizing the region's fresh produce.
Key Responsibilities : Provide compassionate patient care, prioritizing patient welfare and confidentiality.
Interpret radiological requests and perform procedures in compliance with legislation and departmental policies.
Maintain optimal image quality and ensure examinations deliver diagnostic information relevant to clinic requirements.
Commit to continuous improvement by maintaining current knowledge and upskilling in new techniques and advancements.
About You To be successful in this role, you will bring : Prior experience as a Radiographer in General X-Ray and CT.
Mammography experience (Highly desirable)Hold the appropriate qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology / Diagnostic Medical Radiography and have a current AHPRA Registration and Radiation Use License.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to high-quality patient-centred care.
