Responsibilities As a Qantas Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) you will be responsible for performing Aircraft Maintenance and rectification as per manufacturers' and company specification to a high standard.
You will be working with a range of specialist teams enabling you to provide excellent engineering standards on a solid foundation of safety, quality, reliability and service.
What you'll have Completed Certificate IV Aeroskills qualification (Mechanical or Avionics)Previous experience in a Line Maintenance environment is desirable Relevant Aircraft Maintenance (Mechanical or Avionics) trade experience Experience working on B738, A320 and/or A330 is desirable Have a proven commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement initiatives Have proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle competing demands, particularly when under pressure and/or managing multiple stakeholders Compliance with all Qantas safe working practices and service standards Have excellent time management skills and a proven ability to effectively manage demanding schedules Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team and independently Commitment to being customer focused with the flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required Highly developed attention to detail Ability to work shift work An Australian Drivers licence Successfully pass a Pre-Employment Medical Why Qantas?You'll join a team where creativity and passion are encouraged.
