As a team lead, you will manage a group of engineers as they build tooling and collaborate with other teams to deliver on this promise, enabling rapid delivery of high-quality software.
You will support your direct reports in becoming excellent Xeros, empower them to deliver high-quality software to customers, and foster a world-class engineering culture.
What you'll do Lead a team of engineers, supporting their growth, engagement, and helping them reach their potential.
Ensure your team's delivery pipeline is predictable and sustainable, raising and addressing blockers as needed.
Maintain accurate, fit-for-purpose, and sustainable delivery systems within your team.
You'll be responsible for providing informed estimates, delivery forecasting, capacity planning, and reporting.
Understand and promote Xero engineering standards and practices.
Facilitate an engineering approach that complies with these standards and encourages sustainable excellence.
We are looking for someone who has Experience managing software delivery and/or other teams using Lean-Agile techniques.
Strong understanding of modern software delivery practices and lifecycle.
Proven ability to balance individual needs with business requirements.
Experience building high-performing, innovative, and experimental teams that learn through failure.
A background in software or infrastructure, with a basic understanding of modern CI/CD practices.
