Role Overview: Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Planning Graduate Under guidance, your daily activities may include: Project Planning and Design: Data collection, hydraulic modelling, GIS/mapping, design drawings, calculations, and reporting for water and wastewater projects.
Participating in feasibility studies, hydraulic assessments, infrastructure options, and strategic planning.
Supporting water infrastructure design, including pipelines, tanks, pump stations, and treatment plants.
Conducting site visits for data gathering and feasibility assessments.
Analyzing environmental, geological, and cultural data to inform planning.
Preparing technical reports, specifications, and documentation for approvals, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
Assisting in tender submissions.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and communicating with clients and stakeholders.
Supporting senior engineers in meetings and presentations.
Engaging in professional development, industry trend updates, and mentorship opportunities.
Representing Stantec in industry bodies like the Australian Water Association.
About You Final-year student or 1-2 years of experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
Effective team worker with a passion for learning and problem-solving.
Strong communication skills and computer literacy (MS Word, Excel).
Eligible to work in Australia.
