What you'll be doing The Allied Health Department Head is an integral part of the multidisciplinary health care team, leading the delivery of quality services in dietetics to patients/ clients of the SNSW Local Health District in order to meet their health and wellbeing needs.

Selection Criteria

Tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics and eligibility for membership of Dietitians Australia (DA).
Demonstrated highly proficient written, verbal, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Extensive knowledge, clinical proficiency and ability to work collaboratively and lead a multidisciplinary team, taking leadership in clinical and operational decision making.
Ability to effectively prioritise and organise dietetics caseloads across a small regional team.
Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and leading implementation of evidence based practice.
Demonstrated experience in participating in clinical research and knowledge of the research process.
Demonstrated high level problem solving and project management skills.
Current unrestricted drivers licence and the ability to maintain.
Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires.
This may involve driving long distances.
