- Provide professional clinical leadership for their allied health discipline(s) including the development and implementation of effective, safe, and quality services.
- Lead the professional governance of their discipline(s) including the management of professional performance (including competency standards) and oversight of clinical supervision.
- Lead and develop opportunities for teaching, training, research, practice advancement, and quality improvement within discipline(s).
- Develop and promote a stable and innovative workforce within discipline(s).
- Provide professional and operational support to allied health service leads (including but not limited to unit heads, team leaders and/or coordinators, clinical leads, site seniors) across the ISLHD.
- Facilitate and foster professional links within and outside of the ISLHD.
- Assist in developing and maintaining effective, integrated, and coordinated allied health services across the ISLHD
