About the company This business is seeking a driven and energetic IT Service Desk Engineer who wants to progress their career.
You will be working with an experienced and well-rounded team providing Level 1 support with the ability to also work on some projects from time to time.
This role is mostly WFH; however, there will be occasional requirements to visit client sites for onsite maintenance.
You will have an excellent phone manner as well as great written communication skills, as you will be responsible for this business's most important assets: their customersAbout the job: On a day-to-day basis, you will be required to administer support and provide maintenance to: Microsoft Windows Desktop & Server Microsoft Exchange & 365 administration Remote Desktop / Terminal Services / Azure Virtual Desktop Remote access and monitoring systems Microsoft Azure or AWSExperience in all these areas is not mandatory; any relevant experience will be considered.
To be successful, you will: Have Managed Service Provider experience (advantageous)Have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Level 1 Helpdesk support analyst Be familiar with the Microsoft stack (Exchange, 365 administration, etc.)Have basic network troubleshooting skills Have basic VOIP telephone system support experience Possess a positive attitude, be career-driven, and able to communicate effectively Additional points: Opportunity to take on more responsibility, such as assisting with O365 migrations Work within a friendly and supportive team that conducts daily meetings and communicates heavily through Teams Certifications and training paid for Detailed and thorough onboarding process Not focused on billable hours Low staff turnover; several staff members have returned in recent years Opportunities for travel Internet allowance Interested?
