This will align with Award requirements and organisational policies.
The Flight Nurse is responsible for the nursing care and clinical management of patients requiring aeromedical transport by NSW Air Ambulance, between country and metropolitan hospitals/health facilities within NSW and interstate.
Responsibilities include triaging patients, clinical care before and after flights, administrative duties, and ground-based duties.
This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team of critical care nurses/midwives working on our new fleet of B350 C aircraft, designed by clinicians.
NSW Air Ambulance will also introduce 2 state-of-the-art PC24 jets.

This position is a temporary full-time role (up to 12 months with possible extension) based in Mascot.
ABOUT YOUMaintain a level of physical fitness appropriate to the role Meet physical/height requirements to ensure safety in the aircraft No phobias or fears related to heights or confined spaces Willing to participate in pre-employment drug testing and meet the Drug and Alcohol policy Able to complete Flight Nurse Scenario-based assessments Willing to undertake health and fitness assessments during recruitment Pass a medical assessment by an authorized person Satisfy all medical and legislative requirements Complete all clinical and operational training for the Flight Nurse scope of practice Ability to swim Current driver's license HOW TO APPLYRespond to the two questions below (max 4000 characters including spaces) and submit with your CV and other required documents.
