About The Role The Operational Assurance Supervisor within Transport Improvement supports the safe and consistent delivery of services across the Traffic Management Assurance, Incident Response Service, Transport Operations Centre, and Intelligent Transport Systems teams.

The role works closely with the Transport Operations Centre to promote a 'one team' approach for seamless on-road service delivery.

This fast-paced position focuses on driving continuous improvement through a rigorous, audit-based quality management approach.

You will support Network Operations teams by maintaining clear, up-to-date procedures and work instructions that ensure safe daily operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of operational processes, excellent writing and data analysis skills, and keen attention to detail.

You will lead initiatives to enhance safety, operational performance, and consistency across teams.

This role offers a unique opportunity to influence staff training, embed safety measures, and support teams in using data and insights—especially through Power BI—to improve decision-making and service delivery.

You will work closely with teams such as Traffic Management Assurance, Incident Response Service, Transport Operations Centre, and Intelligent Transport Systems to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

In this role, you will influence and engage stakeholders by communicating clearly and addressing concerns effectively.

Your strong data skills will support analysis and reporting, using tools like Excel to provide insights that inform decision-making.
