Salary: $120,303 - $135,701 + up to 15.4% superannuationLocation: Canberra, ACTThe RoleAre you an experienced risk management practitioner?Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced collaborative environment?Do you want to be a key contributor to Australia's Nuclear-Powered Submarine capability?If so, you might be the person we are looking for to perform the role of Assistant Director Risk Management within the Nuclear-Powered Submarine Regulatory Design (NPSRD) team.The EL 1 Assistant Director Risk Management is responsible for driving the development and delivery of a range of risk management functions, including implementing and maintaining the future Australian Naval Nuclear Power Safety Regulator (ANNPSR) risk framework and risk register.You will be the responsible custodian of the ANNPSR's risk framework and risk governance and provide an advisory role to support the Executive in understanding the future ANNPSR's capability to manage risk.You will steward systems of risk management and promote an open and proactive approach to risk that fosters collaboration, encourages debate and values independent views.With excellent consultation skills, you will engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, using your self-starter mentality to exercise sound judgement, influence decisions, and set priorities to meet deadlines.
