Kickstart your career at SALHN as an Administration Officer
As the Administrative Officer, Outpatients Support Services, you will be multi-skilled in all administrative aspects of the SALHN Outpatient Clinics and be responsible for the provision of confidential, efficient and comprehensive; customer orientated front-line administrative support to the SALHN Outpatients Clinics.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Administration Manager & Supervisor, this role is responsible for the provision of confidential, efficient and comprehensive; customer orientated frontline administrative support to the SALHN Outpatients Clinics.
Duties in this role may include:
Managing the patient administration system
Processing of referrals in a timely manner
Notifying patients of clinic appointments and issuing relevant literature to patients prior to consultation
Adjusting appointments when required and informing patients of changes
Providing professional, quality, and responsive customer service.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Experience and computing skills, including email and word processing
Sound communication skills, verbal, written and interpersonal, to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
Experience in providing effective customer service
The ability to work effectively as part of a team without direct supervision
Effective time management and organisational skills
