We're delighted to partner with a top law firm in their search for an in-house counsel.
This is a position to support the firm itself (non fee-earing) on a wide variety of matters including procurement (including IT procurement), general commercial contracts (including clients engagements), internal policies and procedures, and risk matters.
You will have strong contractual negotiation skills, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You will form part of the senior management team and understand the risk facing a law firm, bringing extensive private practice experience to the table.
This position is based in Melbourne's CBD and requires 5 days in the office, working closely with the partnership and CEO on key strategic and risk matters affecting the firm.
