Please note: this is not a FIFO role.
What's on offer : Base salary $87,979 - $93,513 + overtime (depending on skills and experience)Regular overtime opportunities9-day fortnight Locality allowance paid fortnightly Community access to a Council Vehicle2-bedroom duplex unit ($300 per week, within walking distance to the depot)Relocation support up to $8,000 What you'll bring In this hands-on, fast-paced role, you'll lead a close-knit team delivering vital road and drainage works across the region.

We are seeking someone with strong supervision experience in this field or extensive knowledge of roads and drainage.
Basic computer skills, including reporting and spreadsheets, are required; you don't need to be an expert but should be comfortable with these tools.
Key responsibilities include : Supervising small teams of road crews Being on-site with crews 80-90% of the time Overseeing RMPC / TMR maintenance works and ensuring compliance with specifications Coordinating inspections, reporting, and defect backlog updates using Excel and Council systems Maintaining safety and efficiency on-site, working closely with the Works Coordinator Requirements : Driver's Licence and White Card (mandatory)MR Licence (or willingness to obtain)Traffic Management Implementation Ticket (or willingness to obtain)Traffic Control Ticket (or willingness to obtain)Bonus points if you have : RMPC / TMR compliance experience Certificate IV in Civil Construction Supervision About Us Precruitment, with offices in Cairns and Brisbane, is Queensland's leading regional recruitment agency, specializing in permanent and temporary roles.
