Media Director

Location: South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne Start Date: March 2025 /* NO Sponsorship or Visa Transfer available for this role*/ Responsibilities Serve as the primary media advisor to clients, ensuring media plans align with their marketing goals.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through strategic recommendations and performance reporting.
Oversee media planning and buying across all channels, including Digital (Online) : Paid Search, Programmatic Display, Social Media, Video, OTT/CTV & Traditional (Offline) : TV, Radio, Print, Out-of-Home (OOH), Direct IO.
Cultivate relationships with media owners, platforms, and technology partners (Google, Meta, TV networks, OOH vendors, etc.).
Oversee media budgets for multiple clients, ensuring efficient allocation and cost control.
Work with finance teams to manage billing, invoicing, and media reconciliations.
Monitor campaign performance and optimize in real-time across all channels.
Leverage data analytics, attribution modelling, and measurement frameworks to improve ROAS.
What we are looking for Experience 7+ years in Media planning and buying, preferably in an agency setting.
Strong client management experience, working with major brands across different industries.
Ability to present and pitch media strategies to senior marketing executives and CMOs.
Proven track record of leading teams of media planners, buyers, and analysts.
Experience managing multi-million-dollar media budgets.
Ability to forecast spend, optimize investments, and negotiate rates.
Skills Ability to develop integrated media strategies across digital and traditional channels.
Expertise in media mix modelling, audience segmentation, and performance forecasting.
Experience in A/B testing, attribution modelling, and incrementality testing.
Understanding of ROAS, CPM, CPA, LTV, and other key media KPIs.
Experience using media buying and planning platforms.
Knowledge of DSPs, DMPs, CDPs, and Ad Verification Tools.
Bonus if you have Certifications in Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, The Trade Desk, Nielsen Digital Ad Ratings, MFA.
