This is a hybrid role consisting of legal secretary work and paralegal duties that usually works one to one with a solicitor on a range of personal injury matters.
About the role This role offers plenty of variety, with the key responsibilities and duties being:
• Liaising with clients, lawyers and barristers via email and telephone
• Arranging appointments and managing diaries
• Drafting and formatting of legal documents and correspondence
• Identifying relevant issues in documentation
• Reviewing and analysing documents (medical records, expert reports, liability documents, etc)
• Preparing briefs to counsel and experts
• Managing all administrative aspects of files; and
• General secretarial and administrative tasks as required We place great importance on these positions, so you'll be rewarded with a generous salary that is based on your degree of experience.
About you To be suited to this position, you will be a team player who prides themselves in exceeding expectations.
We are looking for someone with a minimum of two years experience in a similar role in a litigation firm.

Your strong work ethic, and proactive attitude, matched by your excellent communication and organisational skills, will see you thrive in this role.
Further skills that you will need to demonstrate include:
• Ability to work autonomously and show initiative
• Ability to develop strong relationships both internally and externally
• IT savvy with good technical skills
• Polished secretarial skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Word processing, Power Point and Excel spreadsheet skills;
• Willingness to work with all team members, regardless of role or seniority;
• A personable, collaborative and friendly disposition.
