Senior Project Manager – Software Implementation

This is a hands-on role managing a high-impact project for one of Australia's leading energy organisations.
WHAT'S ON OFFER Salary: Up to $160,000 package (including superannuation) Location: Hybrid – Melbourne preferred Opportunity: Lead end-to-end implementation of a third-party risk management system Scope: Oversee upgrades and enhancements to an existing compliance platform THE ROLE: As the Project Manager, you will take ownership of planning, execution, and successful delivery of key initiatives – including the implementation of a vendor-led risk management solution and the uplift of an existing compliance platform.
You will collaborate with senior business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless integration and alignment with organisational governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities Lead deployment of a third-party risk or compliance management solution.
Manage vendor-led implementation, training, and post-go-live activities.
Oversee platform enhancements to meet risk and compliance objectives.
Provide project governance, risk tracking, and stakeholder reporting.
Ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timeline in a fast-paced environment.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Proven experience managing technical software implementation projects.
Experience delivering vendor-led Saa S solutions and system enhancements.
Strong knowledge of risk, compliance, or governance systems.
Excellent stakeholder management and vendor coordination skills.
Ability to navigate complex environments and deliver under tight deadlines.
