Join our energetic leadership team shaping and creating future value Inclusive, supportive, and transparent leadership team Be part of a dynamic and future-focused, customer-owned bankAbout the role As Head of Strategy & Enablement, you'll work closely with our CEO and Executive Team to help shape the bank's direction and to turn our big ideas into life.
This role is key in turning strategy into action by connecting executive priorities, business planning, performance rhythms, and ensuring that our long term goals stay firmly in focus.
You will act as the sounding board to the CEO, offering timely insights to support strong decision making.
You will help guide priorities across the business and work to identify and remove risks or roadblocks before they impact on delivery.
Acting as an integrator across teams, you will lead key projects and help to solve big challenges that don't sit in just one team.
You will also support the CEO through strategic planning cycles, executive and Board reporting, project governance, and communication of key priorities across the organisation.
This is a full-time permanent position based at our Head Office in Albury, NSW.
What you can expect Reporting to the CEO, you will: Provide strategic planning & organisational alignment between strategic priorities, transformation programs, and BAU Prepare insights, analysis and recommendations to support strong decision making Represent the CEO in key forums and ensure consistent follow through Ensure the flow of information is moving smoothly between leadership and the wider organisation Foster collaboration across teams and identify road blockers Oversee key projects on behalf of the CEO to ensure alignment with strategy About you To be successful in this role, you will have: Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Law, Public Administration, or a related field Demonstrated experience in a strategic advisory or senior operational role Strong capability in stakeholder management, executive support, and cross functional coordination Proven ability to lead programs or initiatives from concept through to execution Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and support evidence based decision making Strong communication and organisation skills A passion for solving problems and making meaningful change Relevant experience with banking or financial services (desirable) A current driver's licence and willingness to travel occasionally About Us At Hume Bank we've always believed the future is bright.
